Share Your Knowledge
Every Learner Deserves to Belong. Let’s Make It Happen—Together.
A significant number of children and young people with visual impairment still face barriers to accessing inclusive, quality education. Progress toward equity remains uneven across countries and communities. But change is possible—when we work together.
ICEVI collaborates with members and partners across regions to strengthen education systems, promote inclusive policies, and uplift lived experience. We connect people and share practical knowledge to support locally led efforts.
Your experience, insights, and actions can help move this work forward.
How You Can Contribute
You don’t need to be a policy expert or global leader to make a difference. We welcome contributions from people with lived experience, teachers, families, advocates, and professionals from all backgrounds.
Here are a few ways to get involved:
Share What You’re Doing
Let us know about an initiative, classroom strategy, community project, training activity, research effort, or policy shift that supports inclusive education. We’re especially interested in what’s happening in local contexts.
Share Your Experience
If you’re a person with visual impairment—or someone who supports inclusive education—your perspective matters. Your story can inform, inspire, and drive broader understanding.
Offer Support or Skills
Do you have tools, experience, or time that could support others? ICEVI often works with individuals and organizations who offer in-kind contributions like training, translation, or collaboration.
Speak Up in Your Community
Whether you’re raising awareness, advocating for policy change, or supporting learners in your school or organization—your efforts help shape inclusive systems. We’d love to hear how you’re making a difference.
What Happens When You Share as a Member
Your contribution helps build a global community of learning, connection, and action.
When you reach out, ICEVI may:
- Follow up to learn more and connect you with others in our network
- Invite you to take part in conversations, events, or learning exchanges
- Request your permission to feature your story in a newsletter, campaign, or publication
- Use your insights to help inform broader advocacy efforts with our partners
We review each contribution with care. While we may not be able to publish every submission, all contributions are appreciated and help guide our ongoing work.
You will always be contacted before anything is shared publicly, and your permission will be requested in advance.
