These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment website located at https://icevi.org/ (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

  • “ICEVI”, “we”, “our”, “us” – The International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment, a non‑profit organisation registered in the United Kingdom.

Changes to these Terms

ICEVI may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect once posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

User obligations

When using the Site, you agree to:

  • Use the Site only for lawful, non‑commercial purposes that support ICEVI’s mission.
  • Provide accurate information when requested (for example, on donation or membership forms).
  • Respect intellectual‑property rights and refrain from copying, distributing, reverse‑engineering or data‑harvesting Content without permission.
  • Not introduce malware, spam, disruptive code or conduct that could damage or impair the Site.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Site, other accounts, or networks connected to the Site.

Donations, memberships and refunds

  • Donations are voluntary and, unless otherwise required by law, non‑refundable.
  • Membership fees are charged according to the terms displayed at the point of purchase.
  • ICEVI uses third‑party payment processors. While we choose reputable partners, ICEVI is not liable for errors or breaches outside our reasonable control.
  • Receipts will be issued by email upon successful payment.

Intellectual‑property rights

Unless otherwise indicated, ICEVI owns or licenses all intellectual property in the Content. You may:

  • View, download and print Content for personal, educational, or non‑commercial use, provided you retain all copyright notices and credit ICEVI.
  • Not reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, sell, or create derivative works from the Content for commercial purposes without ICEVI’s prior written consent.

Third‑party links and resources

The Site may contain links to external websites or resources. ICEVI is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accessibility of external sites. Following any third‑party link is at your own risk.

Entire agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ICEVI regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
