ICEVI Europe working closely with national partners, OPDs, and international allies, the region organized national conferences and focus groups to strengthen the blindness sector and support professionals working with individuals with visual impairment. A major initiative included a collaborative research study with the LEGO Foundation to explore how LEGO Braille Bricks can enhance braille literacy education across several European countries.

In addition to research and training, ICEVI Europe prioritized information sharing through its official website and the ICEVI Europe Digital Magazine, keeping members informed about advances in education and rehabilitation. The region, alongside partners and local networks, also provided humanitarian assistance to people with visual impairment affected by the war in Ukraine. Different than other ICEVI regions, Europe places a unique emphasis on rehabilitation services, reflecting the growing needs of an aging population with vision loss.
